Kurt's Blazer

Kurt Krohn’s 1996 Chevy Blazer LT 4x4

Kurt started his project by slapping some chrome 17" Neeper rims wrapped with Dunlop Z-rated tires and lowering the stance significantly.  He then shaved the doors handles and front and rear emblems and the side moldings are soon to come. He has full purple neons underneath and 12" purple neons under each seat.

Then he started on the stereo.  He replaced the factory stereo with an  Infinity AM/FM/Cassette/CD (out of a ‘98 Caravan).  After putting in the new head unit he took out all the factory speakers and put in Infinity 4622CF 4x6" speakers in the dash with Infinity Kappa ½" tweets in the door pillars.  In the front doors he put in Infinity Kappa 6.5" speakers.  The front stage of his system is powered by an USAcoustics 2100 with 100-watts x 2 channels. In the back doors he installed Infinity Reference 512i 5.25" with a Profile 100-watts x 2 channels for power.  As for the bass, he   had SoundWaves of Dayton, Ohio build two 12" MTX 7000’s  into the floor with a MTX 5400X 50-watts x 4 channels + 100-watts.

He is considering tinting the front 2 windows to match the limo on the rear 3, but that’ll be later.   He's hitting the ground too often so is saving up for a hydraulic suspension.
