Forbidden Fantasy Show March 8, 1998
Greetings all. Donald here.
Can you believe that we actually had almost everyone from the club make it to this show? Only three people actually showed their vehicles, but beggars can't be choosers. Everyone else at least made an appearance and if you've read any of my previous show coverages then you know why I am so astonished. Anyway..... on to the show.
Brian, the president of Forbidden Fantasy, personally heralded us in to the show area. (It also helped that we had 6 of the first 7 vehicles to show up.) We rolled in at about seven am and proceeded to clean and clean and clean and, well you know the drill. Within a couple of hours well over a hundred vehicles had shown up and more were still in line! All in all I believe that over 170 vehicles were entered in the show. That's just a little bit more than the 50 that were originally hoped for. For this being the first show that this club has ever held it went amazingly well. It was well organized, the location was excellent, Hi-Speed Productions was there DJing, the weather was awesome, and there were plenty of clean rides to admire. My only complaint is that I didn't get the trophy that I so richly deserved. Did I mention that I have a fully bagged 98' Tacoma? Hint, hint.
My congratulations go out to Brian and Forbidden Fantasy for
putting on one hell of a fine show and I definitely look forward to going again next year.
Where I will a really big trophy of course or my coverage may not be quite as nice
good well complimentary as it is this year. Hint,
hint.
