Endless Summer 1998

What's up yall? Sorry, I had to do it. What does the river, water toys, mini trucks and beautiful women have in common? Me. That's right, I made it to another Endless and it totally kicked ass. Another act one member, Steve, and I drove up early Thursday morning and sat in line for 3 hours. Have you ever pre-reged? I would strongly suggest it.
We got in the park by about 1 pm and then went and set up camp. Brian from Xiles showed up a few of hours later and set up their camp up in the spot that we saved for them. We kicked it Thursday night and chilled out until my friend Joker and his wife showed up.
We got up Friday morning and launched Steve's Jet-Ski's and Joker's Sea Doo. Water toys rule! Late that afternoon my friend Tim showed up and let me know that Bob wasn't coming. Homey Bastard. Anyway, we got really drunk Friday night.
Do you know how early 5 am is? That's when I had to get up for the show. And then I didn't even win anything. Homey Bastards. We rode the toys, checked out the show, and had a generally good time. Bodo Dave and Steve decided to get into a drinking contest later that night. Have you ever had a double shot of Tequila and Vodka mixed? They have now. About 6 each. You can imagine the aftermath. I myself consumed a bottle of Goldshlager that night. But unlike Bondo Dave, I didn't hurl.
We packed up camp Sunday morning, went to the awards, and headed home. I can't wait til' next year.
I brought along my video camera and made an amateur video of the run. I taped cruising around the park, plenty of girls flashing me, out on the dance floor and the best part of the wet t-shirt contest.
