Spring Splash 97'!
Splash had it's ups and downs but overall it wasn't a bad run at all. It was hot, real hot but the lake was close and shade was not hard to find. We got together with Xiles Compact Car Club form Arizona, they had some tight rides and some nice members we partied all weekend and had a great time. Lots of vendors showed up to offer great deals on parts to help customize your ride. The park wasn't the greatest all dirt, very uneaven roads, and with the addition of lake water made a muddy mess, but I still think everyone had fun. The show was on grass and asphalt which made up for the lack of both in the camp area. Hundreds turned out to show their custom rides. act one brought home a second place trophy for my truck in the "Closed Bed Full Custom" Category and I even got a $25.00 cash prize. Kevin from Xiles got a third place for his Honda Civic, overall I think it was a great run.
