Here you can see where I cut out for the step notch, differential, and hydraulic rams. The holes were covered with custom made steel boxes, welded in place and then sealed with silicone. The hydraulic rams have removable plates for access and after the work was completed the entire bed was re-painted with the identical light beige paint used on the exterior of the truck.
