Well, here we go boys and girls. For those of you that don't know me, I won a body drop from Ruthless Customs at Resolutions in a raffle. That was the best $2.00 that I have ever spent. Reso was the first weekend of January. It took me about a month to save up enough money to put a down payment on a commuter Honda. Once I had the Honda, I called Shaun down at Ruthless Customs at (619)***-****. We set it up for me to bring my truck down to them in a months time on March 22nd, the day after the Forbidden Fantasy show. Note that date, my truck was there at 9:00 am that morning.

The cab is almost finished. They took their time and did it right. I don't know how many body dropped Tacomas that you may have seen, but they've looked at every one that they can. Unlike many that we've seen, my truck will retain all of the stock interior pieces. This includes : bottom door plates, center console, and front kick panels. Unfortunately my stock fenders had to go. My tires wouldn't tuck when they weren't cambered in. Of course I just happened to have a friend selling 4x4 fenders with shaved marker lights and shaved antennae so in they went.
All in all, I am more than happy with the quality of work that they are doing. I really shouldn't complain about how long it is taking. I just want my damn truck back! I have made 2 payments on it since it has been down there. I had to drive the 1 1/2 hours down there last week just to remember what it looks like.

I have now retrieved my truck from the evil clutches of Ruthless Customs. They had my truck for over 3 months. I know what everybody says, I only paid 2 dollars for the drop. I understand that. My truck now has numerous dents and dings from when they were working on it. When I retrieved the truck the odometer was disconnected. From everybody that I talked to, the Ruthless guys were driving it all over town the entire time that they had it. Half the time without the bed. I'm just glad that I got my truck before they went to jail.
